About CDP Architects

Practice Synopsis : CDP Architects Ltd was formed in January 2000 by its Managing Director, Willy Findlater, and is the evolved collaboration between the multi-discipline professional practice he founded in 1986. The Practice Principals, professionals from different design, construction and cultural backgrounds, came together with the mutual goal of developing their own talents, having recognised a growing need for a vital design approach which acknowledged that we shape our man made environment, and thereafter over time it shapes us. The foundation on which the business is built is the traditional discipline of architectural design.         

Philosophy : The Practice philosophy is to ensure growth by referral through the provision of a highly professional design orientated and commercially aware service in which personal involvement of the Practice Principals is guaranteed.

Experience : Since inception CDP has been commissioned for a wide variety of projects. Experience includes the integration of advanced building and information technologies into new and existing buildings, leisure and recreation facilities, computer, command and control buildings, warehousing and manufacturing facilities, laboratories, residential developments, military accommodation, museum, historic and heritage works.
