In 2003, Custom Design Practice were approached to convert a flat within a B-listed Georgian villa from a house in multiple occupancy to a family dwelling. The works involved extensive structural, roof and historic repairs including cornice and sash and case window replacement.

In 2007, we were again approached by the same Client following the purchase of the derelict property below. The property was subdivided, extended and renovated throughout to form two impressive townhouses each with a front and back garden. The works included extensive internal alterations, window replacement, stone repairs, cornice replacement and structural repairs.

Our design solution resulted in two substantial family dwellings whilst allowing the historic plan layout of the house to be read and faithfully restoring the properties historic design details.
